The Movie Market in Enfield, NH will be closing after 33+ years in operation. Unfortunately, business has slowed to a point that is unsustainable.
On Saturday, March 31, 2018 the Movie Market will stop renting movies and games. We will reopen, hopefully, on Saturday April 7, 2018 to start a liquidation sale for all the movies, games, fixtures, etc. EVERYTHING MUST GO!
To our incredibly LOYAL customers...you are like family to us. It is only our wonderful customers that have allowed us to stay open this long.
This is the most difficult decision Fred and Kevin have ever made. For us, owners since 1990, we can't imagine our lives without the Movie Market, but we also cannot afford to continue subsidizing a business that comes up short on revenue each month.
As perhaps the LAST VIDEO STORE in New Hampshire Movie Market is closing.
A few details are below.
>We stopped selling rental credit on February 28, 2018. Any customers with rental credit on their accounts will be encouraged to use as much as possible prior to the end of March. As the liquidation sale starts, rental credit may be used to purchase DVDs and games. Refunds will be available for unused rental credit.
>For those who have “free rental” punch cards from fundraisers and other sources, you may use them as fast as you can. No limit to one free rental a month. These FREE rental punch cards will have no cash value. We will try to come up with a formula where they may be used for purchases.
>We certainly hope that all those who rent items over the last month of operation will continue to return them in a timely fashion
