Movie Market has been serving film fans in Enfield,
N.H., and surrounding communities since 1984, when the Battis family opened the
doors. Kevin Lary and Fred Lane bought the store in 1990. Since then, Kevin and
Fred have transitioned the inventory from VHS format to DVD and Blu-ray and
expanded their commercial space, first 1994 and again in 2007.
On Saturday, March 31, 2018 the Movie Market will stop renting movies and games. We will reopen at 10 am on Saturday April 7, 2018 to start a liquidation sale for all the movies, games, fixtures, etc. EVERYTHING MUST GO!
To our incredibly LOYAL customers...you are like family to us. It is only our wonderful customers that have allowed us to stay open this long.
This is the most difficult decision Fred and Kevin have ever made. For us, owners since 1990, we can't imagine our lives without the Movie Market, but we also cannot afford to continue subsidizing a business that comes up short on revenue each month.
As perhaps the LAST VIDEO STORE in New Hampshire, Movie Market is closing.
